Low force under textiles or garment | texsens

hand pressure mapping sensors

What is texsens?

The novel texsens force measuring device was designed specifically for textile and clothing load measurement. It utilizes a fully calibrated, capacitive sensor connected to a small, lightweight loadpad electronics.

In applications where contact pressures are very low and accuracy is crucial, texsens sensors are an ideal solution for measuring force under clothing.

How can texsens be used?

Texsens sensors are used when very low contact pressures need to be detected during body movement under compression clothing.

texsens key features:

• measure local low pressures between soft interfaces
• measure reliably in situations with temperature fluctuation or deformation of the surface
• collect data from a single sensor or multi sensor electronics
• receive comparable data-sets to define thresholds or optimize garment structure, layout, and material

Real-time analysis with loadapp

A detailed analysis can be performed on the data collected by the app by storing it on the device as well as transferring it to a computer.
The mobile app displays force over time and allows you to set your thresholds for audio or visual feedback.
